私の場合アイデアはいつも情景として頭の中に現れます。その情景を、造形上の問題を解決しながら忠実に再現する事が私の制作です。
それぞれの作品に共通するテーマは、明確な区別はありませんが時代と共に変化して行きます。古い方から、「素材の持つ言葉・イメージ」「空き地」「場と物語」「幻想のアメリカ・民話と民芸」「幻想の日本への旅」と続き、現在も「位相」がテーマの中心になっています。
それぞれのテーマは少しずつ織り込まれながら、まだ見ぬ作品へと繋がっていきます。
In my case, ideas always come to my mind as scenes. my sculpture production is to faithfully reproduce the scene while solving production problems. The theme common to each work is not clearly distinguished, but it changes with the times. In order, it changes in the order of "words and images of materials", "vacant lots", "places and stories", "imaginary American folk tales and folklore", "imaginary trip to Japan", and "topology". Each theme is woven little by little and leads to new works.
